Packaging paper should be stored in a dry, moisture-proof, high-temperature-proof, mildew-proof, and fire-proof environment. The storage environment should be controlled with a temperature between 10-30℃ and a relative humidity between 40%-60%, and should be elevated off the ground, away from walls and fire sources.

To ensure the physical properties and performance of packaging paper, the following key conditions should be observed during storage:

Controlling Ambient Humidity and Temperature: Packaging paper has strong hydrophilicity and easily absorbs moisture from the air, leading to deformation, mildew, or decreased strength. It is recommended to control the relative humidity of the storage environment at 40%-60% and the temperature between 10-30℃. During the rainy season or in high-humidity environments, dehumidifiers, desiccants, or dehumidification equipment can be used to prevent deformation problems such as "wrinkled edges" on the paper.

Moisture-proof and Moisture-proof Storage: When stacking paper, use sleepers to elevate it, at least 25mm above the ground, and do not place it against walls. Leave gaps between pallets to facilitate ventilation. Unused sheets of paper after opening should be sealed with stretch film promptly to minimize contact with humid air.

Keep away from fire and high temperatures. Paper has a low ignition point and must be stored away from open flames, heaters, air conditioner vents, and direct sunlight to prevent it from becoming brittle, aging, or posing a fire risk.

Standardize stacking and use the first-in, first-out (FIFO) principle. Stacking height should not be too high (ideally no more than 2 meters) to prevent deformation of the bottom layer of paper. Follow the FIFO principle to avoid discoloration, reduced strength, or mold growth due to prolonged storage.

Avoid reuse and contamination. Especially for food packaging cartons, reuse should be avoided to prevent bacterial growth and food safety. Additionally, salt, fertilizers, oils, and other hygroscopic or volatile substances should not be stored in the warehouse to prevent contamination or moisture absorption of the paper.
